Sea Marshall® PLB8-MS Submarine Rescue Alerting Unit

Miniature, highly effective, low cost personal protection for the whole crew…depth rated to 300 metres!

1. Submarine in normal operation and gets into difficulty.

2. Crewman wearing PLB8-MS Submariner Alerting Unit exits submarine (with Alerting Unit around his neck, his hands are free) Alerting Unit automatically activates after 5 seconds immersion as crewman rises to surface.

3. Crewman reaches surface with Alerting Unit already transmitting. The 121.5 MHz signal and ‘SOS’ light signal from each crewman wearing a AU is tracked by rescue teams and the Crewman is recovered.
